About Inveil
Inveil is data loss prevention (DLP) for AI tools. It stops sensitive data leaking into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Cursor, and shows what your team spends on them.
What it does
Inveil runs quietly on each employee's machine. It checks prompts, files and screenshots on the device before they reach an AI tool. Images and PDFs are read with built-in OCR on the machine, so nothing is sent anywhere to be checked.
How it works
- It detects emails, SSNs, card numbers and API keys, plus rules of your own such as specific domains, project codenames or customer ID patterns.
- Each rule either blocks the request or redacts the data and lets it through.
- It flags hidden instructions in pasted text and files that are written to hijack an AI tool.
- A dashboard shows usage by employee, team and provider, estimated cost, and every block and redaction.
